The components of a non-surgical facelift

Each non-surgical facelift is custom-tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs. A variety of non-invasive techniques are available, covering everything from fine lines, deep creases, loose skin, thin lips, sunken cheeks, large pores, acne scars and loss of facial volume. Common components of a non-surgical facelift include:

Injectable deep hydration – Mesotherapy with hyaluronic acid

For immediate facial hydration, the most effective solution is offered by the application of mesotherapy and hyaluronic acid. Mesotherapy can be applied to various parts of the face, neck and décolleté.

How is it applied?

The application is done with syringes that have a very small and thin needle, so that the ingredients penetrate better into the fatty tissue and have immediate and visible results. It is a completely painless method and the multivitamin preparations used are completely safe and stimulate the skin. The addition of hyaluronic acid to the cocktail of nutrients results in water retention in the skin, resulting in deep hydration.

Botulinum toxin

Botulinum toxin acts on the muscle, inhibits the transmission of the nerve impulse and prevents contractions. It is aimed at women and men of any age, and fights expression wrinkles, when fatigue around the eye and forehead area is now visible. Botulinum toxin treatment is a safe, non-invasive application, since the amount of drug used is negligible and completely controlled. The procedure takes a few minutes and involves fine injections in the forehead, forehead or eye area, which immobilize the muscles that cause wrinkles. Afterwards, we continue our activities normally, since the treatment leaves no traces and does not require specific precautions after its application. In the following days, a gradual reduction of expression wrinkles is observed and the results last for approximately 6 to 8 months.

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is widespread enough on the face to correct the nasolabial folds, i.e. the deep lines that start from the nose and go towards the mouth. It is also applied to emphasize the cheekbones on the face, which due to weight loss or due to the aging process have lost their volume. Return to work and daily activities is immediate. There is a chance that after the application some small ecchymosis or bruising will appear, but these will gradually subside. The effect lasts up to a year.
After a Botulinum toxin session, as the skin and muscles are relaxed, expression lines won’t worsen, meaning less product can deliver similar results in the future. In addition, the hyaluronic acid in dermal fillers will increase collagen production, creating a firm layer under the skin. Wrinkles are not as deep, so later, fewer filler injections may be needed.

Straightening with PDO threads

A new form of injectable lifting with PDO threads, helps to lift the skin and improve the oval of the face in a natural and safe way. It is a form of injectable lifting directed collagen. By inserting the bioabsorbable PDO threads (subdermally), fibroblasts are activated to produce collagen and elastin, resulting in skin rejuvenation. Among the many advantages of the collagen lift is the short duration of the application, it does not leave incisions or scars, there is no need for hospitalization, the result is immediate and long-lasting. Also, the material used is fully absorbable and completely safe. PDO (polydioxanone) sutures are absorbable and consist of a synthetic, bioabsorbable material. When deconstructed they help the tissue to repair itself, supporting it at the same time so that it straightens and stabilizes in the right place against gravity.

The points that can be applied are the oval of the face, the neck, the areas to the side of the eye or under the eye. While on the body it can be applied to the abdomen (bottom, top and side), chest, décolleté area. On the legs, on the thighs (front inside, back inside), on the buttocks, as well as on the arms. The quantities and dimensions of the threads to be used vary and are personalized according to the case. After the application with PDO threads we see a percentage of the final result, while as time goes by this is constantly improving. The procedure can be performed in the plastic surgeon’s office and the results become visible within 2 weeks after application. It is aimed at those who show mild to moderate relaxation. Contraindicated in people with blood clotting disorders.

AUTOLOGOUS PRP MEDIUM THERAPY

Autologous mesotherapy has multiple effects in rejuvenating facial tissues. It is used for the prevention and treatment of skin aging, facial wrinkles, the tightening of loose skin, as well as the treatment of other aesthetic problems such as scars, stretch marks, alopecia and hair loss. With this method, we utilize platelet-rich plasma (PRP ), where with the healing properties of our blood we stimulate the production of collagen and encourage the regeneration of our cells, for the total rejuvenation of the skin. With PRP we improve skin elasticity as we stimulate collagen production, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, give radiance and youth to our skin and even improve stretch marks and other similar aesthetic problems. Working with a plastic surgeon means that each non-surgical facelift can be tailored specifically to your skin’s evolving needs. Ultimately, if non-invasive techniques can no longer achieve the desired results, a surgical procedure may be considered.
